Mobile App Project for Republic Polytechnic

The objective of this project was to create an application that new students entering RP could use to familiarise themselves with their new surroundings.
Through the use of new technology such as Augmented reality and Virtual reality, we came up with a way to
make exploring the school a fun and enjoyable experience for these students.
RP trails was launched officially on the 13th of April 2017 and has since been used by new students during their Freshmen Orientation Program (FOP).
This Project was the product of the first ever collaboration between RP's School of Management and Communication (SMC) and School of Infocom and Technology (SOI).
The entire project took a total of 6 months of work in which the team and I designed the wireframe, came up with content, captured photographs as well as coordinated with Pocket Trips to bring the application to life.
Currently, the App is only catered to SMC and SOI specifically, however, we are hoping to include more of the schools in the near future with the ultimate goal of including all schools in the near future.
