For this project, my team and I were assigned to a main interviewee who was the manager of

N-Parks. After doing our research, we found that he was particularly interested in birds and how they contribute to Singapore's biodiversity.

 

As such, we framed the broadcast piece around misconceptions the public has about the wild and biodiversity as well as how the public underestimates the biodiversity in Singapore in terms of the number of species of birds we have as well as plants.

 

In this project, the team comprised of 5 people in total. I took up the role of a videographer in which I collected footages of the interviews as well as general shots of wildlife which you will see in the video. On top of that, I was in charge of finding royalty free music that would blend well with the theme of the video. 

 

The Broadcast video was ranked among the top 3 in the entire cohort and my team and I were given the opportunity to present our video personally to the N-Park personnel. 

 

The N-Parks personnel were very impressed with my teams work and mentioned that they might have intentions to use it in the near future.
